Beach Please Summer Tote Pattern

Materials:

Bulky Weight Yarn – I used Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn in Clay, Aqua, and Woodberry. This project took about ¾ of the skein of the main color (Clay) and then only a little bit of the other two accent colors. This yarn was really neat to work with. It’s a cotton and nylon blend in the shape of a knitted tube. The bag feels nice and sturdy in this yarn, but still soft. You can use another bulky weight yarn for this project, or double strand a thinner yarn, like cotton. Just make sure you check the gauge below to help you with your yarn substitutions so you aren’t surprised with a much smaller/larger bag.
Crochet hook – 6mm size – I always use (and honesty love) my set of Clover Amour hooks!
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
8 back loop SC stitches = 2 inches wide
7 rows of back loop SC stitches = 2 inches tall
